The Adult Mission Trip to Caldwell, Ohio will be held on May 10-12th. The plan is to return to Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio and paint the roof on the building which serves as their main distribution center. Last Fall, several members from Fairlawn installed a ceiling and lights in part of the same building. There will, no doubt, be a variety of other less physical jobs to do as well. Please look for the poster on the Adult Mission Trip and sign-up where indicated. The cost for the event will be in the $50 range, used to cover food. | May 19th, Saturday | APS Walk for Life  |
The annual Walk For Life to benefit Akron Pregnancy Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007. YOU are invited to be part of this joyful public testimony as the Body of Christ unifies in honor of the Author and Giver of Life. Children are a welcome part of the walk as they get their faces painted or enjoy the puppet show at 9:20. Children of all ages are enthused by the LION Players who perform at 9:40. As the walk up Market St. begins, you are giving witness to our love for Jesus across denominational lines and your personal support for all God is doing at APS. Churches are foundational to this ministry and we need many of you to represent our church that morning. Please consider walking or sponsoring a member of our church as they walk! Fairlawn Lutheran Friends, we hope to have a great entourage of walkers and financial supporters from our church body again this year.
