July 14th-19th l The 63rd Convention will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center July 14-19, 2007, in Houston, Texas. The convention, which serves as the principal legislative assembly for the church body, offers the opportunity for worship, nurture, inspiration, fellowship, and the communication of vital information for delegates and visitors.

Red Cross Bloodmobile is Monday, July 23rd 1pm - 7pm at FLC.

Will you be the one to give blood and save lives?

Already in June the Red Cross has declared a blood emergency, a day when there is less than a 24 hour supply of blood. As we get into July and August, there will be many more days of emergency status. Blood donations decrease during the summer due to vacations and schools not in session. Donating blood is often not a priority.
