OPEN M MAKES “LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS”
OPEN M’s 40th Anniversary and Inaugural Benefit Dinner was planned and all set up at Todaro’s on Friday afternoon, March 7, with lighthouse centerpieces (Beacon of Hope in the Heart of the City); lavender flowers, donated art work, strip steak and salmon, and all the trimmings! BUT, remember the date, March 7! It was snowing horribly when they left Todaro’s to go home and dress up for the special occasion. The event had to be cancelled and they noted the scripture from Proverbs 16:9 – “In a man’s heart he makes the plan, but God directs his steps.” Sometimes God’s timing, just isn’t the same as ours. However, Open M decided to “make lemonade.” Brian at Todaros' packed up the food so OPEN M could throw an early Easter dinner for the neighborhood people, and they loved it! A date is rescheduled for the Anniversary Dinner: Sunday, May 18, 4 PM at Todaro’s. Tickets are $50 per person.
