ELECTION DAY

ELECTION DAY: please consider making baked goods or serving a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate to our neighbors who come to vote at FLC. Voting hours are 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. If you can bake, serve or need more information , call Tom Strachan at 330 666-5924 anytime of the day.

FOREVER YOUNG - "THE SUNDAY FUNNIES"

Our guest speaker will be Carol Stark from the Summit County Historical Society. It will be an entertaining and informative history of the Sunday comics from The Yellow Kid to Brenda Starr. How about The Katzenjammer Kids? These characters made us smile with their antics. They will be presented in art form and will surely bring back fond memories. We are asking everyone to bring 1 or 2 boxes of hot chocolate mix (8- 10 packets/box) for the OPEN M Christmas baskets. These hot chocolate mixes are the ones you just add hot water to. Please come & join us for Lunch and the Program. Everybody is Welcome!! Lunch is catered & you will enjoy a good Program. We gather at 11:30 for fellowship & eat at 12:00. Make your reservations with Wilma Cumbridge at 330-864-3156.

PARABLES OF JESUS

Beginning Sunday, November 16th, Dr. Blaise Congeni will lead a study on the Parables of Jesus. Jesus communicated deep spiritual truths through simple, vivid and engaging stories. Woven from the stuff of everyday life, the parables of Jesus made the kingdom of heaven understandable and accessible. This DVD enhanced study will help you appreciate more fully their relevance to your own life and walk with Christ! Bring a friend and enjoy this fellowship and Bible study hour each Sunday morning at 9:30!
