January 10th, Sunday

Join us for Laser tag after the third service.
We’ll have Pizza at church & then we head over to
Laser Quest!

Cost is $14 per person for two games.

Hope to see all of you on the 10th.

January 11th, Monday
WOMEN OF FAITH, small group Bible Study, will resume on Monday, January 11 at Panera's in Montrose 7-9 PM. All women are welcome to join our group. A few of us come early to have dinner. We enjoy fellowship, study time, and prayer time. Our study is VIEWPOINT by Chuck Colson and will last 6-7 weeks. Please read Chapter 1, Road to Glory and answer the questions

After we that study, We will begin a study of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 for 2 weeks, and then discuss the book “Epicenter" in a book club format.
January 17th, Sunday New Small Group Bible Study forming,

PEOPLE OF CHRIST
A new Small Group study is forming – couples previously meeting at the Hoppe’s on Sunday evenings will be starting a new study in January.

The Group presently consists of four couples and we welcome you to join us. We will be meeting every other Sunday at 6:30 and we’ll be meeting at church.

The group will be using the book He Chose the Nails by Max Lucado as the basis of our study. We thought this would be good study to take us into Lent and Easter.

Girl’s Night Out #3

Join us to welcome the Federwitz Family!!

Who: Women & Girls 10 years & older
Where: Fellowship Hall @ Fairlawn Lutheran
When: Saturday, January 23, 2010 7PM-9PM
Why: Welcome to Ali & Paul Federwitz (missionaries from FLC on furlough)
Eats: Appetizers & Desserts, Coffee & Punch

FLC women will welcome Ali Federwitz on Saturday, January 23, 2010 with a "shower" to help her stock her cupboard. There will be a sign up sheet at the Welcome Center so we may know how many to expect.

You will see a "Palm Tree" in the Narthex on Sunday, January 3, 2010. The Palm Tree will have tags on it listing items that will be helpful to "stock" staples for the Federwitzs. Each tag will be valued around $5.00 & you may even have the item already. Some tags will be for a $5.00 Gift Certificate to either Giant Eagle or Acme. Please select a tag of your choice.

Ali & Paul arrived with their children a couple of weeks ago but were off to Chicago for a debriefing with Lutheran Bible Translators.
