September 8th, Wednesday
Senior Choir
“NEW CHOIR MEMBERS WELCOME"

The new choir season begins Wednesday, September 8, at 6 pm with a picnic at the Fred Damerow home. New members are welcome. We sing for the first time on Sunday, September 12 at the 9:30 am service.

SEPTEMBER 12 begins our new year in LET’S R.O.C.K.!!

We’re excited to grow in fai th with you!
3-year-olds - 5th graders will experience:

Large–and small-group gatherings

The “Big God Story”...God’s ENTIRE story of love and redemption of which they are a part

Celebrations recognizing God’s faithfulness, intense love, & personal interaction in their lives

Weekly blessings as they depart Let’s ROCK Families will experience:

Opportunities to join our Sunday morning celebration events

Resources to guide their children with Bible discussion, daily blessings, & at-home worship

September 13th, Monday
Have you thought about joining a women's small group Bible Study? Think about joining the Women of Faith group that meets on Monday evenings at Panera in Montrose.

The WOF small group will have an informal gathering at the Panera in Montrose on Monday, Sept. 13 from 7-9 PM. We will be re-grouping for our fall season study and catching up with each other after a busy summer.

We meet weekly, Monday evenings at Panera, some of us come around 6:30 to have a bite to eat, or coffee and to chat prior to the evening's study.

On Monday Sept. 20th we will begin our new studywhich includes, study, fellowship, encouragement and prayer. We do meet weekly at Panera in Montrose.

September 14th, Tuesday
Our "Jubilee Bells" bell choir will begin its 2010- 11 season on Tuesday, September 14, from 6-7:00pm. Our hope this season is to incorporate all five octaves of bells and tone chimes into our music ministry at the three Sunday morning services.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS WANTED

The next meeting of the Prayer Shawl Ministry will be Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our goal is to provide hope and comfort to those who most need a reminder of God's love for them through the work of our hands and the prayers of our hearts.

Please join us and bring size 11 knitting needles and approximately 600 yards of the yarn of your choice (preferably soft worsted or bulky weight) and help us create a meaningful ministry! We will gladly teach anyone to knit or just brush up on their knitting skills.
