The primary function of the Discipleship Team is to equip the Congregation and the community for daily spiritual growth.

Team Vision:
The Discipleship Team will empower ourselves and the body of believers to become more Christ-like, encouraging us to connect faith with life at each stage of our journey, while supporting each other with unconditional love.

Goals:
1. Equip people of all ages with skills for their daily walk with Christ.
2. Provide life-enriching opportunities for our community.
3. Help people experience fellowship, service and accountability with other Christians.
4. Create a congregational environment where full-time church workers are nurtured and supported.


1. The Discipleship Team will oversee the Called Staff and Lay Staff required to achieve the Team goals.
2. The Discipleship Team will be an advocate for the educational programs of the Congregation.
3. The Team will have responsibility for education resource centers containing learning items such as books, CDs and tapes.
4. The Discipleship Team will have direct responsibility over education programs including, but not limited to, the following:
    > Adult education
    > Vacation Bible School
    > Youth programs - Bible classes
    > Sunday School
    > Confirmation
    > Special learning programs
    > Small Groups
    > Family Life
