Start Your Sunday Morning At Planet Jesus

Opening
All Preschool and Elementary school children begin their Sunday morning adventure at our Planet Jesus opening. Here, the children gather together to watch a drama depicting the week’s bible story. Kids even get the chance to participate if they’re comfortable to do so. We sing songs, practice a bible verse, and pray together before the children are sent off to their age/ grade specific groups.

Preschoolers
Preschoolers have a very important place at Planet Jesus. Here, children hear simple stories, sing songs, and make crafts that relate to the day’s b i b l e story.

Elementary Students
After our Planet Jesus opening, children gather together in groups by grade levels. There, we help them develop a personal relationship with Jesus through art, game, and science discovery centers. They finish every morning with journaling and a prayer time with their fellow classmates and leaders.

First Time Guest?
We welcome you to Fairlawn Lutheran Church and especially to Planet Jesus! This is a special time for kids to learn about Jesus, make new friends, strengthen their faith and have a fun time while doing it.

Where do I go?
Our Planet Jesus programs are located downstairs. Take the stairwell located next to the main chapel. Planet Jesus is located through the double doors to your right. We have many helpful volunteer staff to direct your child.

What time?
Planet Jesus starts at 9:30 and ends at 10:30!
