| Bob has been a member of Fairlawn Lutheran Church since he was 12 years old. His family joined FLC on the Sunday that the cornerstone was laid. "That cornerstone, as Jesus is our true cornstone, has provided a rock and fortress in my life. My wife and I were married here; my children were baptized here and my parents have been buried from here. This church has given me an opportunity to grow as a person and as a leader; it has nurtured my faith and given me opportunities to grow in Jesus." God has gifted Bob with the skill of organization and the ability to "get things done". He feels privieged to use those talents at FLC serving as as officer. |

| My daughter and I have been members of FLC for 2 1/2 years. I decided to fill the unexpired term of secretary because I held the same position at my previous church. I enjoy being on Church Council because it gives me a sense of involvement and enables me to meet and interact with other members of the church. |

| Nancy any I were married by Pastor Hoffmaster at FLC in 1974, we left FLC when we moved into Lakewood, Ohio about a year later. God led us back to FLC in 1993 when our Daughter Rebecca would be starting Confirmation. We were blessed to find Peter Leborious at FLC and Nancy and I were involved with the Youth Group here. We are thankful that both of our children (Rebecca and Dan) were in Youth Group with Pete and Confirmed at FLC. As Christians we are called to serve. Since joining FLC I've been actively involved in Sterwardship and as an Elder for the last three years where I've had the privilege to work with and come to know both of our Pastors. Nancy and I are in Bible Study with the Empty Nesters group. We enjoy our Harley and try to do as much riding as possible. |

Equipping and empowering people from the cradle to the grave is the charge of the Discipleship team at Fairlawn Lutheran Church. We couldn't begin to accomplish this without a talented team of servant leaders on Discipleship and we've been blessed with that for sure. I am an emergency physician by training, a leadership coach by vocation and a wife and mother by God's grace. Although a newcomer to FLC, I'm excited to serve as team leader for Discipleship. As part of my leadership, I will bring an organized Small Group focus to the Church so that we can most effectively minister each other in Christ's name. |

" When I was growing up, I wanted to be either a pastor or a doctor. My love for science took me in the direction of medicine. Now a retired physician, I thank God for the continued opportunity to play a small role in his divine play ". |

| Mimi and I have been members of Fairlawn Lutheran Church for 5 years. We both are involved with teams, committees, and projects. I am chairman of the Administration Team. The Administration Team is a functional team and does many of the same things as the Human Resources Department where you work. I have been in the life insurance business since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and am currently employed by Pacific Life. Mimi and I also participate in Dinner for Eight and small group bible studies. We were blessed by the Lord when we found FLC and are thankful to worship, serve, and socialize with so many really nice FLC people. |

I've worn alot of hats in 20 years at Fairlawn, from spaghetti dinner dishwasher to President of the congregation, but the preschool has always been near and dear to my heart. I worked on the committee that started the preschool 10 years ago and served as it's first chairman, back when we had only 29 children. Now 137 strong, the preschool is a testimony to the power of the holy spirit in our community. It's a blessing to be back working with them again. |
