I am the mother of one child, a boy, age six. My Bachelor’s degree is in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois. I started teaching Autistic children in college and simply fell in love with the difference I could make. I recently finished Concordia University On-Line Teachers Colloquy Program, which enables me to be a Called Commissioned Minister of Religion and a Rostered Teacher in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I began as Director in May 2002, and I have been so thankful each year to serve at Fairlawn Lutheran Church and Preschool. My love and enjoyment for teaching children has been the blessing in my life that I could never tire of. |

Jeff Stenroos
Interim Director Praise Band

| I came to FLC as Organist in 1967 and have served almost continuously with the exception of a couple of years. My music ministry broadened in scope with development of our Parish Arts Concert Series (begun in 1999). I have been serving as both Organist and Choir Director since 2002. I love the members of our church and choir, as well as the music and liturgy of the Lutheran Church service. My college training includes degrees from Wittenberg University (1965), the University of Washington (1970), and the University of Akron (2000). |

Jeff is a trained musician whose occupation is in the world of finance. He has chosen to share his wide-range of musical expertise with our congregation in providing contemporary music leadership while we search for a permanent director. |
